With the rapid development of AI Technology, film and television education is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. This presentation aims to explore the application of AI technology in film and television education and its impact on the future film and television industry. It will explore three aspects. First, the urgency and necessity of AI technology in film and television education. Second, Jilin Animation Institute is taken as an example to explain the application practice of AI technology in film and television education, including the important role of AI technology-related courses in the talent training program and in the theoretical and practical courses. Taking the innovative application of AI technology in films such as Battle of Mountains and Seas and Legend’s Shadow as examples, the whole process of students participating in film and television creation is shown, and the difference in film effects before and after using AI technology is compared. A summary of the experience of teacher-student co-creation and man-machine collaborative creation activities based on AI technology is shared. Finally, we will discuss the challenges and problems encountered in the process of using AI technology.
