In current media all bets are off. We are learning to negotiate platforms that do not yet exist, and stories with no foundation in history. We are learning to make sense of the world around us, again.
Storytelling is the most powerful tool we have to negotiate the tempestuous times in which we find ourselves. However, we are still being taught how to tell stories within an outdated framework.
Using manifold examples, Alex will draw on his experience across fields over decades to challenge ourselves to think outside of old production boxes and industry silos and to do so within new collaborative, non-linear, systems.
He will ask us to draw on that boundless imagination to deliver new stories to new audiences, untethered, and try to demonstrate the unprecedented breadth of tools we have to do it.
And he will challenge us to remember that we know nothing.
