Cultural Research Tour

The Imperial Palace(Forbidden City) and National Museum

The Cultural Research Tour is FREE of charge for all CILECT Congress participants. As a partner institution of CUC, the Palace Museum (Imperial Palace/ Forbidden City) will offer a special research program (details to be announced) by opening a number of site expositions that are generally not open for public audience.

Guests need to register at the Congress Registration Desk no later than 6 pm on 22 October 2024.

Meeting at Hotel Lobby.

Arriving at Imperial Palace (Forbidden City).

One tour guide and two volunteers will be leading the guests of each bus.

Please let them know if you:

· Plan to walk around by yourself, and get back to the assembly point for a return bus, or:

· Plan to walk around by yourself, and get back to the hotel by yourself.

First return bus departures from the Assembly Point

(Includes a one-hour-stop for visit of the National Museum).

15:00

17:00

Second return bus departures from the Assembly Point to the hotel.

Last return bus departures from the Assembly Point to the hotel.

Lunch boxes and bottled water will be offered on the bus FREE of charge

for all CILECT Congress participants.
